LOGLINE: An Aspiring Screenwriter...

I found a great parody of student films.

While intentionally bad, it does pinpoint some of the most egregious student film cliches. Namely:
  • Putting the camera in the fridge
  • Making the protagonist a screenwriter
  • Making the protagonist a white guy in his early 20s
  • Vaseline flashbacks (at a beach, no less)
  • Fish-eye lens
  • Dream sequence after dream sequence
  • Seeing blood where there is, in fact, no blood
  • Smoking
  • Looking in the mirror (and splashing water on his face)
  • Cop out psyche out ending
The only things it missed were a trombone shot and dutch angle.
